Albert Einstein is credited with the phrase, "If you stop learning, you start dying."  The same goes for organizations of all shapes and sizes.  The Center for Executive Development (CED) in the Mays Business School exists to help individuals and organizations thrive in their business environment.  Dr. Plunkett will discuss the powerful impact of investing in professional and executive development as well as what the CED at Mays Business School has to offer.

Speaker Bio

Brandi Plunkett, Director of the Center for Executive Development, has served in the education and training field for 27 years and has extensive experience with program development. Prior her move to the Mays Business School as the Director of CED and Lecturer in the Management Department,  Dr. Plunkett worked at the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) where she was the Director over several programs including Leadership Development, Curriculum Development, Certification, Evaluation and Marketing at the Emergency Services Training Institute.  She earned a M.S. and Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development, and a B.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.  She is a Certified Training Professional, a 2008 graduate of Leadership Texas, a 2017 graduate of Leadership Brazos and is in the process of becoming a certified executive coach.
