Laura Wagner Biography (Oct. 19)

Laura Wagner has worked for Bryan ISD at Bryan High School since 1990, initially as a teacher of AP Economics.  She has coached students that were regional winners in Texas Mock Trial Competition, Citizen Bee and State Academic Decathlon.  Her students also successfully competed in and won the Federal Reserve Challenge national competition 3 years in a row.

She has received awards as the Bryan High teacher of the year, the Dallas Federal Reserve Teacher of the Year, the Texas Exes Outstanding Teacher, and as an HEB Excellence in Education finalist.

In the summer, she grades AP Economic exams for the College Board and trains Capturing Kids Hearts for the Flippen Group.  For the last seven years she has served in her current role as the coordinator of the International Baccalaureate Program at Bryan High school.
