Dr Lori Taylor
“We Can Do Better than A through F: Exploring Texas School Accountability Options”

Dr. Taylor heads the Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics and Public Policy at the Bush       School at Texas A&M.  She is a member of the Children at Risk Institute and currently serves as               the principal investigator for the Texas Smart Schools Initiative. She has written extensively on    the cost of education and the determinants of school district efficiency. She has served as a    consultant on school finance issues for a variety of legislative committees in Texas and other               states and at the federal level. Dr. Taylor spent fourteen years as an economist with the Federal                 Reserve Bank of Dallas before joining the Bush School.
