The Carver Kemp Neighborhood Association in conjunction with Bryan Rotary Club and the American Red Cross Serving the Heart of Texas, and the Minority Economic Revitalization Council would like to invite you to a Juneteenth Drive-Through celebration.

Rotarians, Red Crossers, and City of Bryan officials are asked to assist in handing pre-packaged meals and drinks to passengers in vehicles. The goal is to distribute 400 meals as well as water bottles along the car line.

The event will be held Saturday, June 13th, 2020, from 11:00-1:00 at the old Carver Elementary School at 1401 West Martin Luther King Jr. Street in Bryan. We ask that volunteers arrive before 10:30 to receive assignments; parking will be along MLK St. and at Hope's Crossing next to the event site (Family Promise of B/CS).

Because of the current COVID-19 concerns, we encourage all safety measures as outlined by our local and state government. Please bring a mask. Gloves will be provided for those handling food.

We expect that vehicles will start lining up fairly early, so volunteers may be required to park a distance away from the sight. Please wear a Rotary shirt, bring a hat and sunscreen as not all stations will be shaded.

Thank you for supporting this community endeavor!!
