Jackie Pacha, Ph.D.

Jackie is the founding executive director for the Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living (BVCIL) which is the newest CIL in Texas (established in 2010).  Jackie has over thirty years’ experience working with people who have disabilities as a Sign Language Interpreter, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Special Education Teacher & Administrator.  Additionally, she has taught Adaptive and Assistive Technology at Texas A&M and worked with school districts in establishing structured work experience programs for students with disabilities.

Jackie has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M, a master’s degree in counseling and undergraduate degree in rehabilitation services from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
