Current A&M Rotaract Projects
Howdy! My name is AJ Adamek, a sophomore Animal Science major from Yoakum, Texas, and this year I have the privilege of serving as Project Director for Aggie Rotaract. In this role, I’ll be organizing service events and coordinating project plans to further our mission of making a positive impact in the community. I joined Rotaract my freshman year after being involved with Interact in high school and staying active with RYLA. One of my favorite projects this past year was “Build a Ramp”, where Rotary and Rotaract members collaborate to construct ramps for individuals who are wheelchair-bound or unable to use stairs. It's been incredibly rewarding to see the direct difference we make in people's lives. Being a part of this organization has helped me strengthen my time management skills and expand my professional network. Aggie Rotaract offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by actively practicing the Aggie core value of selfless service. I'm always excited to meet new people and have genuine conversations, so feel free to say howdy!
