Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11th to honor all the people who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Bryan Rotary supports education, so we are inviting 5th grade students in public school, private school, or homeschool, to walk through the American history trail at Veterans Park in College Station to see the statues and learn about what they represent from the historical information panels.
- MATCH each statue pictured on the activity form to what it represents at Veterans Park,
- TAKE A PHOTO at Veterans Park of Student(s) with the form at any statue, historical brick, or in the field of flags.
- EMAIL the verification photo to bryan.rotary@gmail.com with:
- Group Photo(s) + 5th Grade Teacher Name + School Name, or
- Individual Student Photo + Parent Name + Student Name + School Name
Submitted pictures may be posted on Bryan Rotary's social media sites with #TogetherWeLearn. Individual student entries will be eligible for a local gift card drawing.
The 5th Grade School Campus with the greatest participation will be eligible for a $500 education grant. All entries due by 11/17/2021.
Submitting a photo to Bryan Rotary Club page constitutes permission for us to download, save, and share the picture.
