Ronin Farms-World Food Day
World Food Day

The aim of Ronin Farm is to share a deeper understanding, appreciation, and connection to our food. Fresh ingredients are of the utmost importance, and we strive to utilize produce from our own gardens or from local and organic farms around Texas. After establishing our farm, we decided to take this mindset to town. In May 2018, we opened our restaurant within the 107-year-old Ice House on Main in Historic Downtown Bryan. With both the farm and restaurant, we hope to provide the community with the benefits and bounty from our land and hard work.

Brian and Amanda will give a brief overview of World Food Day, share connections to food and "good" food sources. (i.e. local/sustainable producers), environmental impact, food deserts, food insecurity, and the fact that small family farms and gardens will save the generations to come!  They will also discuss things we can do to affect positive change.
