WHO WILL YOU TAG THIS YEAR?

TO SERVE. TO HONOR. TO EDUCATE.

Every Veterans Week (since 2011) Bryan Rotary Club sets up our Field of Valor—1000 Flag Salute to Service. This is a patriotic display of American flags at Veterans Park in College Station, Texas. The Bryan Rotary Field of Valor project exists to SERVE the community through funds raised, to HONOR Active Military, Veterans, First Responders, and Healthcare workers for their selfless service through their vocation, and to EDUCATE students through teacher mini-grants and scholarships. For a $100 donation, a 3'x5' American Flag on a 10' pole will be posted and tagged with your name and your Honoree’s information. This year, in celebration of our country's 250th birthday (1776-2026), consider a tag honoring a historical figure. Click here to Reserve a Flag Tag in this November's display.

2026 Club Grant Application is Now Available for Local Projects!

The Bryan Rotary club will fund up to $10,000 for local projects. Projects and programs should align with the goals of Rotary that is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. Projects should be sustainable and measurable.

RESTRICTIONS

A proposal should:

Be from a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
Be organized and managed by the applicant/organization
Fill one or more major unmet community needs
Be able to measure results of project

Grant funds cannot be used for:
1. The establishment of a foundation, permanent trust, or long-term interest-bearing account
2. Debt retirement
3. General operating expenses
4. Purchase of land or buildings
5. Fundraising activities
If grants are not implemented within 12 months of receipt of funds, the grant will be canceled, and the recipient will be required to return the funds.

Flags Across Bryan: A Tradition of Patriotism with Purpose

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary this year, there has never been a more meaningful time to proudly display the American flag. Through Flags Across Bryan, the Bryan Rotary Club invites our community to do just that—while investing directly in the future of Bryan ISD students and teachers.

Flags Across Bryan is more than a display of red, white, and blue. It is a fundraising project dedicated to supporting Bryan Rotary’s mission of providing student scholarships and teacher grants for the Bryan Independent School District. Every flag sponsored helps open doors for local students and equips educators with resources to enhance classroom learning.
